Welcome!
I am a Postdoctoral Scientist in the Gribble Lab at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, Massachusetts, USA. I am currently using experimental, genetic, and bioinformatic approaches to determine the mechanisms of transgenerational epigenetic inheritance in a rotifer model system, Brachionus manjavacas.
I earned my Ph.D. in the Department of Ecology and Evolution at Stony Brook University. As a member of Robert Thacker’s laboratory, I worked to understand the population dynamics of marine invertebrates and their responses to rapid environmental change. I studied arthropods and molluscs and was lucky enough to split my time between two beautiful places: Long Island Sound, NY and Friday Harbor Laboratories on San Juan Island, WA.
Outside of my research, I enjoy trail running, gardening, and exploring shorelines.
